The ADCIS project publishes the ADCIS
Directory, a
resource designed to help anyone find out about organisations and services
in the community that can assist or contribute to the lives and wellbeing
of aged people, people with disabilities and carers.
The ADCIS Directory is well established in
the community: it has been published since 1994, and has been freely
available on the Internet since 1997. It is now being widely
used by members of the general public as well as service providers,
with many people relying on it as a broad ranging and thorough
resource detailing an extensive range of government and community
services. The kinds of services in the Directory include:
● Health and Support Services
● Social and Recreational Services
● Educational Facilities and Opportunities
● Transport Services and Options
● Government Services and Benefits
● Accommodation/Respite Options
● Assessment and Rehabilitation
● Emergency Services
The Directory can be searched (you
can look for organisations by their name, the kind of service offered
or location), or you can use the QuickLink
Topics pages to find information on services arranged under
various topics such as "Accommodation", "Respite", or "Lifelong
Learning", for example.
The Directory is freely available on the Internet at: www.adcis.org.au
